Adam qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist at the University of East Anglia in 2005. His first job was in London at a teaching hospital which included a wide range of junior rotations before becoming a senior in Neuromusculosketal Physiotherapy. During this time he specialised in the treatment of patients with sporting injuries, spinal disorders and post-operative/orthopaedic rehab.

Following this he had the opportunity to set up a practice on the British High Commission in New Delhi, India, where he provided services to the ex-pat community as well as many embassies and high commissions, serving both civilian and military personnel. During this time he gained a post-grad certificate in advanced Physiotherapy practice. On his return he has worked in both private practice and private hospital settings, where he progressed his skills in post-operative rehabilitation of those with spinal and peripheral dysfunction
